• Aussie Lifestyle Centre, North Wyong

    This $20M project at North Wyong is now in the later stages of construction, with most buildings completed. Northrop provided the structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering services for the project. Overall, the project contains a Service Centre with BP, KFC, Subway and Pizza Hut, a Carwash, Childcare Centre, Kids Play Centre, a Gymnasium and various commercial outlets.

  • Harrington Street, Sydney

    The heritage listed building was refurbished to accommodate office, retail and residential space. The services were designed to complement and preserve the building's heritage features.

  • Dan Murphy Manly Vale

    This building is a new two story development complete with basement car park for occupation as offices and retail space. Key features include variable volume carpark ventilation system and individual air conditioning control in the office spaces.

  • Sydney Central Station Booking Office

    Refurbishment of the existing booking office of heritage Sydney central railway station.

  • Sky Central, Charlestown

    Sky Central is a $35M mixed use development consisting of two towers separated by the Pacific Highway at Charlestown.

    The towers include split level car parking, 4 floors of commercial space, including retail and office tenancies, together with 4 floors of residential apartments.

    Of particular interest to this project is the pedestrian bridge over the pacific highway, linking the two towers at Level 1. In addition to this, shoring around the perimeter of the basement car park levels involves retention of excavation faces up to 9.5m in height.

  • Country Road Store, Bondi Junction

    Northrop Consulting Engineers provided structural design for the new Country Road store at Bondi Junction. The store is the centre piece of the chain's new re branding to lift its profile as one of Australia's leading fashion houses.

    The new mezzanine floor hung from the steel beams and supported off existing concrete columns incorporates 19.6 tonnes of steel at a cost of $138,000. Overall the building for the fitout costs $1.76M.
