Department of Human Services Headquarters, ACT
This project saw the construction of the DHS Headquarters and the DHS Louisa Lawson Building in the ACT. 9,500sqm and 26,000sqm respectively, the buildings demonstrated integrated sustainability principles from concept through to building operation and fitout to achieve the desired Green Star rating.
Northrop worked to reduce the risk throughout the project delivery by achieving Green Star ratings at Round 1 wherever possible.
The Department of Human Services Headquarters and the Louisa Lawson Building were awarded 4 Star Green Star office design and as built ratings are projected to achieve 4.5 star NABERS Energy ratings.
