With a career that spans the entire life of Northrop, Bryan has a wealth of experience to drawn on. Bryan specialises in the design of architecturally sensitive structures such as schools, houses and institutional buildings. Working closely with architects, he has developed a great feel for understanding their requirements when designing exposed structural elements such as steel and timber.

Neil Petherbridge
Office Manager, NewcastleNeil started with Northrop as a graduate in 1989 and established the Newcastle office. With a sound appreciation of client expectations, Neil works closely with architects, builders and developers. His business acumen and expertise as a senior structural engineer has propelled Northrop’s reputation throughout Newcastle and Hunter region. He also has responsibility for overseeing Northrop’s Central Coast Office.

Jamie Shelton
Office Manager, SydneyJamie commenced his career with Northrop Engineers in 1988 as a Civil Engineer. Today he is the Office Manager of our Sydney Office and one of our senior structural engineers. His role also sees him overseeing the Western Sydney and Wollongong offices – both extensions of the Sydney office. With longstanding experience in the competitive Sydney market, Jamie is able to quickly determine what clients need and provides tailored solutions to suit.
