Vessi is the newly appointed manager of our Specialist Lighting Design Services Group, and brings her invaluable industry knowledge, technical mastery and passion for innovation to Northrop.

Widely recognised as one of the most influential lighting design consultants in the business and with over 21 years of experience, Vessi has the expertise and industry savvy to drive our brand new boutique Lighting Design Studio. Northrop's Lighting Design Services combine expertise, efficient management and the use of cutting-edge technologies to create sophisticated, contemporary developments. Vessi will lead and inspire our team of independent lighting consultants as they offer specialist knowledge about the latest lighting products and trends to ensure that every project fulfils and even surpasses client expectations.

Throughout her career, Vessi has successfully provided innovative and efficient lighting solutions across various industry sectors, including commercial, retail, clubs, landmark attractions and luxury residential projects. Some of her past clients include Qantas, Westpac and IBM (commercial); Carnival Australia, Star City Casino, Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Studio (Entertainment); and Chatswood Chase, Hugo Boss, Capalaba Shopping Centre (Retail).

Vessi is the president of the Illumination Engineering Society (NSW Chapter), a former senior designer for Webb Australia and a former Design Director at NDYLIGHT in Sydney, and has worked on numerous projects that have received awards for excellence in lighting design; most recently, she lead the team awarded the 2010 IES NSW Commendation Lighting Design Award for her work on Airport Drive, Sydney and IBM Cumberland Forest, Town Centre.

In June 2011, Vessi's lighting installation will feature at 43 George Street Sydney as part of the Vivid Festival. The SPARC International Lighting Event offers a unique opportunity to showcase the most progressive innovations in the Australia-Pacific region and attracts leading lighting designers, engineers, architects, interior designers, developers and future clients from around the world. The calibre and quality of installations selected is testament to Vessi's innovative lighting design.
